The goal for this mini-profile was to match the visual tone to the sparseness of Band of Horses' acoustic set—to show as much of them in the nice morning light, and as little of everything else, as possible. The project was the first of its kind for Rookie, an online magazine for teenage girls edited by Tavi Gevinson.
