Sam, and every other kid that I met at Covenant House in Houston, is special. The staff is also special and really cares for these kids--who have been through a lot--and together they all form this difficult but united kind of 'family' that is so strong, that when something like Hurricane Harvey pops into their life, it more or less doesnt even phase them.
